Volleyball Topped by Maryland Foes in Tri-Match

Westminster, Md. - Marywood University came up empty-handed to Washington College and McDaniel College in a Saturday tri-match. The Pacers lost in three sets to both opponents. 

Marywood fell to Washington College by scores of 25-22, 25-21, 25-21. Facing one-loss McDaniel for the second time this season, the Pacers came short by scores of 25-18, 25-11, 25-17. 

Against the Shorewomen, Gabriella Santos tallied eight kills and .154 attack percentage. Peri Sheerin finished with seven kills and two blocks. 

Annie Heyen put together 22 assists and eight digs. Jordan Vossler notched 20 digs. 

Against the Green Terror, Santos finished with six kills. Katherine McGrath recorded three blocks. Heyen tallied 18 assists, and Vossler was the top defensive player with eight digs. 

Marywood hosts Cairn and Keystone in a Colonial States Athletic Conference tri-match on Thursday night.
