Marywood Swimming Downs Juniata while Snyder Wins 3-Meter Diving

Scranton; Huntingdon, Pa. – Marywood University traveled to Juniata College in its last Landmark meet of the season. The men's team won 167-21 and the women won 196-47. In separate action, Courney Snyder won the 3-meter diving in a dual competition with Scranton and Susquehanna.

The women's 200 Medley relay of Mia Nardone, Chloe Wiggens, Courtney Paulus, and Sam Truter finished in first with a team score of 2:19.30. Nardone also took first in the 200-fly competition.

On the men's side, Jared Lubarsky and Mike Freeman finished in first and second respectfully in the 200 IM. Gavin Smith-Staub, Blake Burlingame, and Nicholas Dubinski finished in the top three in the 200 free. Dubinski competed individually in the 100-breast placing in first with a time of 1:12.51.

Julia Randolph and Sam Truter finished less than two second apart in the 100 back having both strong Pacers finishes in first and second place.

Other top finishers for the Pacers were Christine Llewellyn and Andres Pannoni who finished in first and second in the 800 free, respectively, while Mike Freeman touched in at 4:47.34 in the 400-free placing in first ahead of his teammate Zack Costello.

Marywood diving hosted Scranton and Susquehanna University in a diving only competition. Snyder finished in first place in the women's three-meter diving contest. Snyder posted a total of 228.20, outscoring the second-place diver by 67.25.

The divers will travel to Ithaca College Sunday January 28^th for the Dick Comnzo Diving invitational. Both teams will be competing in the Landmark Conference Championships February 16^th to 18^th.
