Swimming and Diving Places Six on CSC Academic All-District Team

Greenwood, Ind.- The Marywood University swimming and diving team had six individuals who were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team Tuesday afternoon.

To be selected, a student-athlete had to have been at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale), and must compete in 75 percent of competitions or finish top-eight at a conference meet or participate in a national championship.

The men's team saw Alex Corcoran and Alex McCarey earn academic all-district honors.

On the women's side, four student athletes were recognized as Camila Gil, Tori Sills, Aubrey Mangan, and Emerson Gellert were all selected to the academic all-district team.

Gil was chosen as an Academic All-America® finalist and will appear on the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on April 28, 2026.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
