Marywood Drops Fall Match Against Lycoming

Williamsport, Pa. – Marywood men's tennis fell today against Lycoming College. Lycoming (1-4) outscored Marywood (0-1) 5-1 to pick up their first win of the fall.
 
Marywood's Jarrod Palmer picked up the Pacers sole point by beating Lycoming's Nick Meek in the third singles set. Palmer won the first set 7-5, then lost the second set 1-6. In the tie breaker Palmer was able to out match Meek 10-5.
 
In the rest of the singles competition, Marywood's Rohan Patel lost to Sam Lamport 6-3, 6-1. In the second singles set Lycoming's Felix Mahon overcame Momar Fall (6-1, 6-1). Mitch Wheary of Lycoming beat Nick Butani (6-0, 6-0).
 
In doubles, Lycoming's team of Meek and Lamport outscored Marywood's duo of Palmer and Patel (8-5). The Pacer's team of Butani and Fall fell to Wheary and Mahon 8-1.
 
Marywood looks to the spring for the next match against Cabrini on April 9th, 2019 at 1pm.
