Pacers Drop Atlantic East Opener in Double OT

Dover, Del. - Wesley College scored with just under three minutes left in double overtime to take the Atlantic East Conference opener from Marywood, 2-1.  The Pacers fall to 7-4 (0-1 Atlantic East) with the loss.

Angela Sanchez scored four minutes into Friday evening's contest, off a feed from Sara Sterchak on a penalty corner, to give Marywood a early 1-0 lead.

In the 18th miinute, Kaila Hindt tied things up for the Wolverines (5-6, 1-0) when she scored on an assist from Rebecca Dvorak.

The score would remain 1-1 through halftime and the first overtime period.  Hindt would end the game on an unassisted breakaway at the 86:18 mark.
