Women's Basketball Drops Road Contest to Misericordia

Dallas, Pa. – Marywood University fell to Misericordia University 82-35 Wednesday in non-conference women's basketball action. The Pacers fall to 2-4 after losing their past three games.

Natasha Hessling produced her third double-double of the season. She led the Pacers in points and rebounds with 12 and 14, respectively. Hessling nearly accounted for half of the team's field goals with a 6 of 12 performance.

Aryah Aungst finished with nine points and eight rebounds.

Twenty-four turnovers hampered the Pacers' efforts against their Luzerne County foes. The Pacers were limited to 12 points at halftime, and they shot 24.1 percent from the field for the game.

Japriya Carroll led three Cougars in double figures with 14 points. Leanne Forsyth had 13 points, and Rachel Carmody factored in with a double-double of 13 points and 14 rebounds.

Marywood heads to Middletown, Conn. to take on Wesleyan University on Saturday.
