Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

Men's Basketball Falls at Moravian

Bethlehem, Pa. - Thomas Swartz had a game high 15 points but it was not enough as Marywood's men's basketball team fell at defending Landmark Conference Champion Moravian College Saturday afternoon in Bethlehem.

Marywood had their three-game win streak snapped with the 87-51 loss to the Greyhounds.  The game was a "Toys for Tots" fundraiser which raised money and donations for the national program.  Swartz's game high came was helped by his 3-for-6 effort from long range.

The host Greyhounds stood out defensively as they limited Marywood to under 33% shooting for the game while hitting nearly 45% of their own shots.  Three players reached double digits for Moravian while Swartz was the only Pacer to reach that mark. Jeremy Ringland was held in check for nine points.

While the battle in the paint was close with Moravian holding a 28-26 advantage, the Greyhounds scored 28 points off 26 Marywood turnovers in the Pacers' loss.

Marywood returns to action Sunday when they visit Elizabethtown College for a 2:00 pm non-conference tilt.
