Briselden Breaks Marywood Women's Golf Record

Mount Cobb, Pa. – Tessa Briselden set a new school record by shooting the lowest score in Marywood University women's golf history. Briselden shot an 84 to help the Pacers defeat The University of Scranton 363-387 on Saturday. The Pacers score of 363 was also a program record.
 
Mariah Casey finished in second behind her teammate Briselden just five strokes back (89). Scranton took the third spot with a 91 ( 19) by Maura McDonough. Marywood's Sara Sterchak finished only three strokes behind McDonough to take fourth with a 94 ( 22).
 
Other top finishers for the Pacers were Brianna Baker and Christiane Lowcher, who tied for sixth place with 96 ( 24). Kimberly Geary tied with Scranton's Maggie McDonough for eighth place (98).
 
Marywood will be at Glenn Brook Golf Club for the East Stroudsburg University Invitational.
