Pacers' Victory Cliniched Third Seed in CSAC Playoff

Kingston, Pa. – Women's Tennis finished off their regular season with a big win over Neumann (9-0). Marywood clinched third seed in the upcoming Colonial State Athletic Conference playoffs.
 
The Pacers close out the regular season 8-2 in the CSAC (8-4 Overall). The Knights finished up their season at 1-9 in the CSAC (1-9 Overall).
 
Marywood had no trouble bouncing back after a loss to Immaculata, with Danielle Ogonowski shutting out her opponent 6-0,6-0 in the first set of singles. Her teammates Abygail Doud and Emily Zarrilli both captured the second and third singles sets receptively. Doud beat Madision Varney (6-1, 6-1) and Zarrilli was successful over Nuemann's Mia Cimino (6-1, 6-0).
 
Ogonowski and Doud teamed up to overcome Mia Cimino and Emily Custer 8-0. Nuemann's Madison Varney and MiKayla Radisch fell to Marywood's Emily Zarrilli and Devin Zombek (8-2).
 
Marywood looks ahead to the CSAC playoffs this weekend where they will face either Immaculata or Gwynedd Mercy.
