Match Recap: Women's Tennis |

Women's Tennis Falls to Misericordia

Dallas, Pa. – Marywood's women's tennis team fell to Misericordia University today 7-2 in their first of two matches this weekend.
 
Marywood's duo of Nicole Sinclair and Brooke Panek scored the Pacers sole point in doubles play against Kayla Rembrish and Nicky Joers in a tight 9-8 (8-6) match up. Allison Mattucci and Cassidy Breen of Misericordia beat Danielle Ogonowski and Gina Babcock 8-4.
 
Danielle Ogonowski scored the Pacers other point in singles play by beating Allison Mattucci 6-2, 6-5. Deena Haroun Mahdavi of Marywood fell to Kayla Rembrish 6-3 in the first set but didn't go down without a fight in the second set losing by just one point (6-3, 7-6 (7-5)).
 
The Pacers will be traveling to the University of Scranton on Sunday September 30th for their second match of the weekend. The match is set to start at 11 am.
