Men's Soccer Silenced by Ospreys

Galloway, N.J. – Marywood University was shut out by Stockton University by a 5-0 margin Saturday in non-conference men's soccer action. It marks the first time since 1999 that the Pacers have dropped its first two contests of the season.

Christian Bik scored a pair of goals in a five-minute span for Stockton. Bik found the net in the 42nd and 47th minutes.

The Ospreys' Villy Fortulus added the game's first tally in the 12th minute off of an Ervin Gjeli long pass. In the 30th minute, Andrew Griggs kicked in a rebound off of a save.

Tom Cuffari had the lone Marywood shot of the game in the 32nd minute. Goalkeeper Dino Gromitsaris made the stop to ensure the clean sheet.

Bobby Riordan finished off the scoring in the 60th minute, finding the top-right corner off of a rebound.

Marywood goalkeeper Mike Gallagher made eight saves in a complete game performance.

The Pacers look for their first win of the season Thursday when they host St. Joseph's College (Long Island) at 4 p.m.
