Second Half Goal Upends Men's Soccer

Dover, Del. - Wesley College broke a halftime draw in the 53rd minute to upend Marywood University 2-1 Saturday in Atlantic East Conference men's soccer action. The loss puts Marywood in a must-win position heading into its regular season finale against Immaculata University.

Zac Lloyd scored the Pacers' lone goal to even the score at 1-1 in the 34th minute.

The Wolverines' Kaiden Fields posted the game-winning goal on an assist from Andrew Schnaack. Wesley went ahead in the 25th minute on Fields' first of the game.

Wesley outshot the Pacers by a 23-5 margin. All five Pacers' shots were on target, while the Wolverines only had nine on frame. Wesley had a 9-4 advantage in corner kicks.

Mike Gallagher made seven saves for the Pacers. Jason Sommer stopped four shots for the victory.

The Pacers host Immaculata University on Wednesday at 7:00 pm.
