Ursinus Shuts Out Marywood in Women's Tennis

Orlando, Fla. - Urisinus College blanked Marywood 9-0 in women's tennis action Thursday evening as the Pacers closed out their spring break trip to Florida.

The Bears (4-3) only faced one tight match as Marywood fell to 1-9.

Lyndsey Medric took Madison Harvey to a superset tiebreaker at six-singles, but fell 0-6, 6-4, 6-10 in Marywood's closest singles match of the day.  

Marywood's one-doubles team of Danielle Ogonowski and Nicole Sinclair fell 8-3 at one-doubles, while Emiily Zarilli and Devin Zombek lost 8-2 at two-doubles.

The Pacers will look to turn their fortunes as they return north to face Pratt Institute on Sunday, March 24 in Brooklyn, New York. Match time is set for 1:00 pm.
