Marywood Falls to Arcadia

Clermont, Fla. - Marywood's softball team fell to 2-5 on the year as the Pacers fell to Arcadia University 8-2 in non-conference action in Florida.

The Knights used a four-run fourth to take a 5-0 lead and never gave up control of the game.  Marywood scored their two runs in the bottom of the fourth thanks to a two-run single from Kate O'Meara.

Kirstie Alvarez suffered the loss despite striking out five in a complete-game effort.

Marywood closes out their spring break trip later this afternoon with a single game against Montclair State University.
