Men's Tennis Swept in Tri-Match

Wilkes-Barre, Pa. – Marywood University's men's tennis team lost both contests in a non-conference tri-match with King's College and Penn State Abington. The Pacers fall to 0-4 on the year after a pair of 9-0 losses to the Lions and Monarchs.
 
Penn State Abington 9, Marwood 0
 
In singles Joey Burridge gave Phil Belotserkovsky of PSU Abington the toughest challenge of the match before falling, 8-4. Marywood's Momar Fall and Jarrod Palmer lost 8-0 in their singles matches.
 
Burridge and Rohan Patel lost a close match in doubles to Phillip Antonoff and Phil Belotserkovsky, 8-5. The team of Fall and Palmer came up short in their doubles match (8-0).
 
King's 9, Marywood 0
 
The Pacers were able to turn their fortune around a little against the Monarchs. Burridge came up just short against Jeremy Henegan (8-6). Marywood's Patel lost to Jason Homschek, 8-1.  Fall and Palmer fell 8-0 in their doubles match.
 
In the first two doubles matches both Marywood teams lost 8-2. Palmer and Fall fell to Tyler Millan and Austin Mackey while the Pacers' duo of Patel and Burridge lost to Jason Homschek and Nick Holland.
 
The Pacers look ahead as they host Clark Summit University on Tuesday. Doubles action is set to start at 3:30 pm.
