Perez's Goal Not Enough in Pacers' Loss to Keystone

La Plume, Pa. – Marywood University found the back of the net for the first time this season in a 4-1 loss to Keystone College Saturday in men's soccer. It marks the Giants' third consecutive victory in the former Colonial States Athletic Conference rivalry after the Pacers' won the first eight meetings.

Carlos Perez scored the Pacers' first goal of the season in the 61st minute. Perez took a Jon Dinnell feed to cut the Giants' lead to 2-1.

Daniel Zuninga tallied the first goal of the game in the 21st minute from Willy Nduwayo and Axel Gonzalez. Nduwayo doubled the lead in the 44th minute from MarDayus Bothwell.

After Perez halved the Giants' advantage, Jaylen Walters responded in the 70th minute on a double-assisted play.

Mike Gallagher made five saves for the Pacers.

Keystone had a 15-9 advantage in shots. The Giants edged the Pacers 3-1 in corner kicks.
