Seniors Lead Field Hockey to Shutout Win at Oswego

Oswego, N.Y. - Seniors Kenzie Drew, Jenna Dickey and Lindsey Quinn each scored a goal and classmate Kerri Mountz had two saves in a shutout as the Marywood University Pacers downed host Oswego State 3-0 in non-conference field hockey Saturday afternoon.

Marywood (3-3) got helpers from Heather Forbes and Lindsey Gladden in the win, and out-shot the host 13-3 (9-2 on goal).

Mountz turned both shots Oswego put on frame for her first clean sheat of the season.

Dickey got Marywood on the board nearly 10 minutes into the game when she took a Gladden pass from the corner and beat Erica Scheblein for what would mount to the game-winner.

Drew doubled the Pacers' lead in the second quarter, finishing a Forbes pass from the point for her second of the year.  Quinn's fifth tally of the season with one minute remaining in the third put the game out of reach.

After playing their sixth consecutive game on the road to start the season, Marywood will host its first contest of 2019 Tuesday evening when it welcomes crosstown rival The University of Scranton (4-2) for a 7:00 pm game.
