Quinn's Game-Winner Cements Pacers' Fourth Straight Victory

Scranton, Pa. - Senior midfielder Lindsey Quinn ended a scoreless draw with a goal to lift Marywood University to a 1-0 victory over Keystone College Tuesday in non-conference field hockey. The Pacers (6-3) notched their fourth straight victory and have now won six of their past seven games.

In the fourth period, Quinn tapped a ball in front of goal for the only score the game. Her career-best eighth goal of the season came on a Jenna Dickey pass delivered from the top of the circle in the 48th minute.

Quinn moves into seventh all-time in goals scored for her career with 23.

The Marywood defense held the Giants to without a shot. The Pacers had a 13-0 advantage in shots.

Keystone net-minder Megan Novak was exceptional in the cage with nine saves.

Marywood won its fourth straight over its former Colonial States Athletic Conference rival.

Julie Trott's squad looks to increase its streak on Sept. 30 when it hosts King's College at 4 p.m.
