Pacers Held Back by First-Place Cavaliers, 65-40

Radnor, Pa. - Marywood University was set back by first-place Cabrini University 65-40 on Wednesday in Atlantic East Conference women's basketball. The Cavaliers jumped to a 28-10 start after the first quarter and kept the Pacers to 25 points through three quarters. 

Olivia Kosin posted the second double-double of her career with 12 points and 14 rebounds. Her 14 boards, including nine of the offensive end, set a new career-best. 

Ashley Tutzauer provided the Cavaliers with a game-high 18 points. Kate Lannon was the only other player in double figures with 10 points. 

Meghan Matthews finished with 11 rebounds. 

Cabrini was kept to 35.9 percent shooting but went 11 of 26 (42.3 percent) from beyond the arc. The Pacers were kept just under 20 percent from the field. Marywood made its mark at the charity stripe, making 11 of 14 free throw shots at a 78.6 percent clip. 

Savannah Purdy and Jade Rolon each had three steals for the Pacers.
