Pacers Break New England Undefeated Streak

Scranton, Pa. - The Marywood Esports team beats the previously undefeated New England Pilgrims 3-1 in a Rocket League series. The trio of Jacob Lutsky (Jakenator1212), Kyle Jenkins (Kyello366), James Marsh (JMarsh) continue to show impressive synergy with electric energy, fantastic passes, and beautiful goals.

The first round showed the threesome keeping their opponents out of the net, while making important goals of their own. Lutsky held off two goals with blocks while answering with a goal of his own. Marsh and Jenkins also recieved one goal each, while keeping pressure on the offensive with a combined five shots taken between them.

Round two saw the Pilgrims answer back, blocking every shot taken by the Pacers and landing three of their own shots taken.

Going into the third round, both teams continued their efforts to take control of the game, but the Pacers where capable of keeping their opponent to only two goals while scoring four of their own. Marsh had an impressive showing with two goals landing on both shots taken, along with a block and an assist.

The final round the Pacers pulled through with a 3 - 0 score. The group took a combined thirteen shots, with Lutsky able to land three of his goals. Jenkins was able to make assists on two of those, with Marsh having one of two important blocks need to shut out the Pilgrims.

The Pacers will look to face Springfield in their next Rocket League Series on next Tuesday, Nov. 2nd.
