Field Hockey Selected for ECAC Championships

Danbury, Conn. - Marywood University's field hockey team has been selected for the 2021 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship Tournament.

The Pacers (10-9) are the #4 seed in Pod 2 and will travel to nearby Misericordia University Wednesday evening. The Cougars (13-7) are the pod's top seed. FDU-Florham is the #2 seed in Pod 2 and will host #3 Cabrini University, the Atlantic East Conference champion.

Pod 1 will see #1 Ramapo College (N.J.) host #4 Sweet Briar and #2 Widener host #3 William Paterson. Those games will also be played Wednesday.

Wednesday's first round winners will advance to the semifinals to be held on Saturday, November 13. The title game will be played on Sunday, November 14.
