Pacers Fall Late to Giants to Close Calendar Year

La Plume, Pa. — A fourth quarter Keystone College comeback set back Marywood University 60-55 Thursday in non-conference women's basketball. The Giants came back from a six-point deficit to outscore the Pacers 26-15 in the final frame. 

Savannah Purdy led the Pacers with 16 points and six rebounds. She provided five assists. 

Jade Rolon produced a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Kilie Wyers was just a rebound shy of a double-double with 10 points and nine boards. 

Faith Kendricks came off the bench to score eight points with nine rebounds. 

The Pacers outrebounded the Giants 48-42. Marywood broke a school record with 44 3-point attempts, beating the previous record by six shots. 

Keystone was led by Mac Oribello's 24 points. Lee Gordon had 11 rebounds. 

Marywood springs into action in the new year by opening the Atlantic East Conference slate on Jan. 5 against Immaculata University.
