Swimming Suffers Setback at Cabrini

Radnor, Pa. - Marywood University's men's and women's swimming teams fell to host Cabrini Sunday afternoon by scores of 137-94 (women) and 106-72 (men).  Marywood closes out their shortened 2020-21 season when they host part of the Atlantic East Swimming and Diving virtual Championship April 23 and 24. 

Gabrielle Cholish won the 200 butterfly in a time of 2:26.69 for the women. Jason Lee picked up a win for the men in the 200 breaststroke (2:48.17) while Walter Marcinkowski won the 500 free in 6:14.27. Daniel Shannon finished second in that event in 6:29.20.

Cholish would find the top spot on the podium again in the 100 butterfly (1:03.74) while Mia Clasby won the 200 IM in 2:22.48. Lee would pick up another win in the 200 IM (2:33.96). 

Marywood's 200 free relay team of Cholish, Clasby, Mackenzie Blithe and Hannah Darmofal won in 1:39.62 while the men's 200 free relay team of Marcinkowski, Joey Slish, Shannon and Lee were victorious in a time of 1:25.23.
