Men's Soccer Fall to Crosstown Scranton, 3-0

Scranton, Pa – Marywood University men's soccer fell to crosstown University of Scranton 3-0 on Saturday. The Royals coasted off of two early goals.
 
Scranton's Jake Nubbemeyer found the net in the fifth minute when he beautifully headed an Andrew Luchansky corner kick to the far post.
 
In the ninth minute, the Royals (2-1-1) doubled their lead. Nick Addamo blasted a 10-yard shot from a Brett Rudy feed.
 
Scranton capped its scoring in the 57th minute. Rudy beat the keeper on a one-on-one situation with a ball delivered from Addamo in the midfield.
 
Niko Leibkuchler made a pair of saves in his first career start for Marywood.
 
Scranton had a 9-5 advantage on shots and tallied all five attempts on target. Marywood had a 7-5 edge in corner kicks.
 
Marywood welcomes King's College on Wednesday night.
