Misericordia Overpowers Swimming

Dallas, Pa. - Host Misericordia University dominated on both the men's and women's side as the Cougars defeated Marywood University's men's and women's swimming programs Friday night in Dallas. The Misericorida men won by a score of 162-27 while their women defeated the Pacers 160-36.

Samantha Peck won the 200 yard freestyle for Marywood in a time of 2:13.29, edging Jenna Flynn of Misericordia (2:14.67). Olivia Fryer finished second in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:12.65.

Jason Lee would take second in the men's 100 backstorke as well, touching in 1:09.05.

Marywood hosts St. Mary's College of Maryland Saturday in Atlantic East action. The meet is scheduled for a 1:00pm start.
