Marywood Falls to St. Mary's (Md.)

Scranton, Pa. - Marywood University's men's swimming team fell to St. Mary's College of Maryland 117-81 while the Pacers' women fell to the Seahawks by a score of 137.5-73.5.

Samantha Peck and Jason Lee both won the 200 breaststroke events for the Pacers and Sabrina Zieger won the 200 IM giving Marywood their only individual wins on the afternoon. Peck touched in 2:47.98 and Lee in 2:32.15, while Zieger won in 2:26.82.

Daniel Shannon finished second in the 1000 freestyle (13:18.72), Cameron Gordon finished second in the 200 free (2:14.64) and 50 free (25.33), and Dylan Hervieux was second in the 100 back (1:00.38) and 200 back (2:19.28). Jason Lee also had a runner-up finish in the 100 breast (1:07.47). Joey Slish also finished in second in the 200 butterfly (2:33.14).

Zieger also finished second in the women's 200 freestyle (2:10.21) and 200 back (2:26.46), while Molly O'Neill won an uncontested 200 butterfly in 2:52.31. Oliva Fryer was second in the 50 free in 28.71.

Marywood also won the 200 yard freestyle relay on the men's side in 1:42.12.

Marywood travels to Radnor next Saturday to take on Cabrini University.
