Page Leads Pacers at Susquehanna

Selinsgrove, Pa. - Marywood University freshman Rosalyn Page finished with a team-best sixth place finish at the Susquehanna University Multi and Invitational on Saturday. There was no team scoring at the women's indoor track and field meet.

Page finished in sixth place out of 32 competitors in the shot put. Page measured at 35 feet, 3 3/4 inches (10.76m). Her performance ranked second in school history and beat out her PR by .4 meters.

Page also enjoyed a solid improvement in the weight throw. She set a PR of 10.37m (34-0.25) to take 20th place. She upended her best throw by 3 feet, 9 inches. It ranks fourth in school history.

Brianna Roth cleared the third-highest mark in the high jump. She topped 4 feet, 7 1/2 inches (1.41m) to take 13th place. Roth also set a PR in the triple jump with a distance of 9.39m (30-9.75) for 12th place.

Emma Wagner cut two-tenths of a second off her 60 hurdles PR in an 18th place finish. Wagner clocked in at 12.29 seconds.

In the 800, Katie Shea was less than a tenth of a second shy of reaching the record books. Shea took 10th in 2:40.37.

Daelyn Karboski set a PR of 9.1m (29-10.25) in the triple jump. Karboski improved her distance by an inch.

The 4x200 relay took sixth place in under two minutes. The relay of Karboski, Maryam Hamidi, Chesna Andrade-Foster and Madi Howell placed with a time of 1:59.57.

Marywood is idle until the first week of February when it competes at The Armory in New York City.
