Pair of reserves score for Marywood

St. Mary's City, Md. – Marywood University fell to St. Mary's College of Maryland 3-2 in Saturday's Atlantic East Conference field hockey matchup. The Pacers (4-9, 2-2) evened their record in conference play.
 
Reserves Milana Straub and Belle Coleman each scored their third of the season for the Pacers. Lauren Youngken had an assist.
 
The Seahawks' Audrey Dickens had the lone goal of the first half in the 25th minute. Dickens scored on an Anna Eaton feed.
 
In the third quarter, Straub evened the score in the 39th minute on a Youngken pass. The tie lasted just 83 seconds as Dickens scored her second of the game to take the lead.
 
Celina Kaufman added to the St. Mary's lead in the 54th minute.
 
Coleman tallied a goal in the last minute of play.
 
St. Mary's (9-3, 4-0) outshot Marywood by a 26-6 margin. The Seahawks had an 11-4 advantage in shots on target. St. Mary's had 10 corners to the Pacers' two.
 
Rachel Yohn made eight saves for the Pacers.
 
Marywood will welcome Cabrini University on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
