Pacers Fall in AEC Opener

Jason Lee wins men's 50 backstroke

Arlington, Va. - Marywood University opened the 2022-23 Atlantic East Conference men's and women's swimming season Saturday at Marymount University.

The men lost to Marymount by a 164-27 score. The women fell to the Saints 196-35 and to Cedar Crest 125-100.

Jason Lee won the 50 yard breast in 30.85 seconds. He came in third in 1:09.04.

Molly O'Neill was second place in the 200 IM in 2:37.49.

Maggie Davis finished third in three events. She finished the 50 back in 34.08 seconds, the 100 back in 1:13.77 and the 50 butterfly in 31.4 seconds.

Samantha Peck touched the wall in 1:08-flat for runner-up in the 100 butterfly. Peck was also third in the 100 breast in 1:23.26.

Marywood will face Immaculata University on Saturday for its Senior Day.
