Scranton, Pa. - Marymount University picked up two crucial Atlantic East Conference wins as the Saints blanked Marywood University baseball 3-0 and 4-0 Wednesday afternoon.

Marymount improved to 20-10 (3-6 AEC) while the Pacers fell to 18-10 (5-7 AEC). Marymount limited Marywood to just three hits in the opener. Morgan Theobald had two of them in his 2-for-3 opener.

Nick Notari suffered the loss, dropping him to 4-2 on the year. Notari allowed six hits over the opening six innings. Dan Cossa pitched a hitless and scoreless seventh in relief.  Jake Schuster had the Pacers' other hit in game one.

Marymount opened the scoring in the third on a Ryo Fabre RBI single to right. Alex Lemery then used a sacrifice flyout to left to score Jordan Dicks as the Saints took a 2-0 lead. Marymount added another run in the fifth on an RBI single to left.

In the nightcap, Marymount again opened the scoring in the third as Dicks singled up the middle. Bryce Smith then doubled the Saints' lead with a RBI single to center.

In the fourth, the visitors went up 3-0 on a sac flyout RBI, and in the sixth closed the scoring with a fielder's choice RBI bunt.
