Pacers' Offense Rolls in Regular Season Finale Win over Giants

Kayla McCabe scores 10 points to lead Pacers

Scranton, Pa. — Marywood University had its largest offensive output in five seasons in a 22-4 victory over Keystone College Tuesday in the women's lacrosse regular season finale. The Pacers will next play in the Atlantic East Conference playoffs Saturday as either the fourth, fifth or sixth seed. 

Kayla McCabe scored a career-high 10 points. She scored seven goals and three assists. McCabe also added four draw controls. McCabe is just one point shy of joining the 100 Point Club.

Emma Solomon tallied 10 draw controls. She was one short of tying a single-game assists record with five helpers. She had three goals, four ground balls and eight points.

Alaina Brenneman netted four goals. She caused two turnovers and generated four draw controls.

Marywood also received two goals and an assist from Olivia Stollsteimer. Kortney Harry contributed a goal and an assist. Tori Wilson had two goals. In addition to three ground balls, Lauren Matarazzo totaled four points on two goals and two assists.

In her final regular season game, senior Kilie Wyers scored her first career goal. She garnered two ground balls. 

Emily Dyminski made four saves.

Marywood outshot the Giants by a 32-12 margin. The Pacers won the ground ball game with a 19-10 advantage and doubled Keystone 20-10 in draw controls. 

Wilson opened the game with an unassisted goal 49 seconds into regulation. Keystone evened the score with a Krista Strausser tally from Miranda Mascia. McCabe reclaimed the lead with back-to-back goals to lead a string of five unanswered goals. 

Strausser scored twice and picked up eight draw controls for the Giants.
