Page, Smith Close Season with School Records at AARTFCs

Marywood places 30th out of 44 teams with five points

Bethlehem, Pa. - Marywood University freshman Rosalyn Page finished in fourth place at the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Championships this week at Moravian University.

The Pacers finished tied for 30th place out of 44 teams with five points. 

Page broke both school and conference records with a throw of 132 feet (40.24m). She also came in ninth place in the shot put with a distance of 39 feet, 5 3/4 inches (12.03m). 

Senior Awnshae Smith broke a school record in the triple jump with a mark of 35 feet, 5 inches (10.79m).

Senior Madi Howell came in 12th place overall with 3,177 points in the heptathlon. Howell moves to third place in the Marywood record books. She recorded PRs in five of the seven events. 

Howell ranked No. 3 in the high jump with a height of 4 feet, 7 inches. She ranked fourth in the 100 hurdles with a time of 17.04 seconds.

At the Swarthmore Last Chance Meet, senior Maryam Hamidi finished in ninth place with a time of 1:02.39. Howell came in eighth place in the 100 hurdles.

Senior Katie Shea cracked into the school record book in the 5K with a 19:13.11 run. She ranks No. 5 in school history. Shea beat her PR by 24 seconds.
