Pacers Down Keuka 3-1 to Open 2022 Campaign

Mikayla Meek was just one kill shy of a triple-double

Keuka Park, N.Y. — Marywood University opened the 2022 women's volleyball season with a 3-1 win over host Keuka College Friday on the first day of a quad match. It marks the second consecutive year that the Pacers notched a win in their opener.
 
Marywood won by scores of 25-21, 25-17, 23-25, 25-16.
 
Mikayla Meek was just one kill shy of a triple-double. Meek led the Pacers with nine kills. She supplied 14 assists, 13 digs and four aces.
 
Emily O'Brien tallied seven kills and two block assists. Casey Hagerstrom had six kills in an errorless match and blocked six shots.
 
In the back, Shannon Corr totaled 20 digs to complement three aces. Libby Smith had a team-best five aces.
 
Libero Donna Bostjancic picked up 13 digs.
 
Keuka received 20 assists from Casey Hunziker and 15 digs from Emma Sipos.
 
It was the fourth meeting all-time between the Wolves and Pacers. Marywood holds the series advantage 3-1.
 
Marywood will take on York College of Pennsylvania and Ursinus College on Saturday at noon and 2 p.m., respectively. There will only be live stats and not video for both matches at marywoodpacers.com.
