Marywood Swept at Second Day of Keuka Invitational

Scranton, Pa.— Marywood University lost a pair of women's volleyball matches Saturday at the Keuka Invitational. The Pacers fell to Ursinus College and York College of Pennsylvania in three sets. 

The Bears defeated the Pacers by scores of 25-23, 25-19, 25-16. York outlasted the Pacers for a 29-27 first set win before earning 25-20 and 25-23 set victories. 

York 3, Marywood 0

Shannon Corr led the Pacers with seven kills and nine digs. She had a .188 attack percentage. 

Mikayla Meek assisted nine points with five kills. 

Donna Bostjancic and Evangeline Kelly each joined Corr with nine digs. 

The Pacers shot .000 to the Spartans' .118. 

Ursinus 3, Marywood 0

Meek tallied a season high 12 kills in the loss. She finished with a .348 attack percentage, adding eight assists and eight digs. 

Corr finished with 11 digs. Sydney Steiner assisted eight points. 

The Pacers will welcome Bryn Athyn College to the Insalaco Arena for their home opener on Tuesday night.
