Misericordia Knocks Off Women's Tennis, 8-1

Dallas, Pa. - Misericordia opened their 2022-23 season in strong fashion with a 8-1 win over Marywood University in non-conference tennis action Tuesday. The Pacers fall to 1-3 with the loss.

The Cougars (1-0) swept doubles action, winning at one-doubles 8-1, two-doubles 8-0 and three-doubles 8-3.

Cat English earned the loan point for the Pacers on the afternoon with a 6-2, 6-8, 10-4 win at six-singles over Cassie Benderavich.

Marywood hosts SUNY Cortland Friday at 3:30pm.
