Men's Soccer Shut Down by Arcadia, 4-0

Glenside, Pa. — Marywood University was shut out 4-0 by Arcadia University Saturday in men's soccer. The Pacers fall to 3-5-0 on the season.
 
The Knights outshot the Pacers by a 24-6 margin and had a 9-3 advantage in shots on target. Arcadia had four corner kicks to the Pacers' nil.
 
Matt Brook put Arcadia on top in the 12th minute on a Giancarlo Ciotoli-assisted play.
 
Thomas Hoy doubled the Knights' lead in the 43rd minute.
 
Arcadia added two goals in the second half. Ciotoli headed a Hoy pass into the net in the 59th minute. Ethan Torpey capped the scoring in the 82nd minute on a Logan Gildea feed.
 
Niko Leibkuchler made his first start in goal for the Pacers with five saves.
 
Marywood welcomes Hood College on Wednesday afternoon.
