Pacers Cage Bryn Athyn in Three Sets

Marywood shoots a season-best .351 mark for the match

Scranton, Pa. - Marywood University shut down Bryn Athyn College by a 3-0 final Tuesday in its women's volleyball home opener. The Pacers defeated the Lions by scores of 25-10, 25-12, 25-11. 

Marywood evened its record to 2-2 with a .351 attack percentage. The Pacers notched 19 service aces in three sets. 

Shannon Corr posted 10 kills and a .375 attack percentage. She led the team with six aces to total 17 points. 

Casey Hagerstrom and Mikayla Meek each added six kills. Meek provided 20 assists. Sydney Steiner also had 13 assists. 

On the service game, Libby Smith had three aces. Summer Evancho tallied five kills. 

Sabrina Brock led the Lions (0-1) with five kills and three aces. 

Marywood heads to Williamsport on Saturday to take on Keystone College and host Lycoming College.
