After Centenary went ahead 56-36 at the 17-minute mark in the second half, Marywood used a 10-2 run to crawl back into the game. Franko made a layup to make it a 58-46 game in a 2:12 span.

Mendygral sank a 3-pointer in the corner on a back-handed Holman assist to move within one. Falk and Franko exchanged jumpers, and Issac Poueriet put back an offensive board for an 89-86 advantage.

Down by five, Marywood made a late effort with another Franko basket with two seconds left. On the inbounds, Vigil stole the ball but stepped out of bounds before Marywood could try a game-tying 3-point attempt.
