Women's Soccer Sweeps AEC Weekly Awards

Mulherin earns player of the week, Elash earns defensive player of the week

Lancaster, Pa. – The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women's Soccer Players of the Week on Monday for the week ending on October 15th. Player of the Week honors go to Marywood's Riley Mulherin, while teammate Mila Elash was named Defensive Player of the Week.

Mulherin scored four goals in the Pacers' two Atlantic East victories this week. She scored the lone goal versus Cabrini off of a Julia Rodriguez delivery in the 47th minute. Mulherin produced her second hat trick of the season with three second-half goals in a 7-0 win over Centenary.

Elash recorded two shutout victories for the Pacers. She had a total of six saves in the two conference match-ups. Her five saves against Cabrini powered the Pacers to a 1-0 victory. 

The Pacers will host Gwynedd Mercy University on Wednesday.
