Pacers Fall to No.6 Scranton, 76-35

Scranton, Pa. — The Marywood Pacers (1-2) hosted cross-town rival No. 6 University of Scranton women's basketball team (2-0) where the Pacers fell in a 76-35 match in non-conference action on Monday night.

Rachel McDonald led the Pacers with 12 points, Alli Griscavage recorded six rebounds. 

Kasey Kranson led the Royals with 13 points and eight rebounds. 

As a team, Scranton shot 41.0% (32-of-78) from the floor and 25.9% (7-of-27) from the three-point line, while holding Marywood to 30.0% (12-of-40) from the field and 30.8% (4-of-13) from deep.

The Pacers look to rebound when they travel to Susquehanna University on Thursday.
