Women's Basketball Drop to Susquehanna River Hawks, 70-47

Selinsgrove, Pa. — The Pacers (1-3) traveled south Thursday evening to take on the Susquehanna University River Hawks (1-0).  Marywood fell 70-47 in the matchup. 

As a team, the Pacers shot 12-44 (27.3%), going 4-11 (36.4%) from behind the arc and 19-39 (48.7%) from the charity stripe. 

Kendel Card and Alli Griscavage put up 10 points a piece for the Pacers to lead the team. Card was 3-10 (30%) from the field and 4-8 (50%) from the line, while Griscavage shot 2-3 (66.7%) from the floor and 6-12 (50%) from the stripe.  

Griscavage also lead Marywood in rebounds and assists, grabbing seven boards and two assists. 

Susquehanna won the rebound battle 45-40, while also shooting 25-68 (36.8%) from the floor. The River Hawks were 5-23 from three and 15-24 (62.5%) from the line. 

The Pacers look to bounce back on Saturday as they travel to New Jersey to take on Rutgers-Newark.
