Swimming Competes at F&M Invitational

Dylan Hervieux breaks 100 IM school record

Lancaster, Pa. —Marywood University swimming and diving competed in a tapered event at the Franklin & Marshall College Invitational in mid-November.

The Pacers men finished in ninth place overall with 60 points. The Marywood women collected 34 points for 11th place.

Dylan Hervieux broke a school record in the men's 100 IM with a time of 57.48 seconds. He also came in 33rd in the 200 free in 1:51.53 and 36th in the 100 back in 56.77 seconds.

Samantha Peck cracked the Top 30 in three events. She was 25th in the 200 butterfly in 2:25.67. Peck came in 28th in the 400 IM in 5:12.2. She was 30th in the 100 butterfly in 1:03.01.

Aubrey Mangan captured 37th place in the women's 100 back in 1:14.14. She finished 51st in the 200 free in 2:07.49.

Emerson Gellert produced a 45th place swim in the women's 100 butterfly in 1:05.37. Molly Englehardt clocked in 56th place in the 100 back in 1:07.64 and tied for 59th in the 50 free in 26.71 seconds.

Quinn Grosvenor notched 45th place in the 100 butterfly in 56.5 seconds. He also recorded a 23.45-second swim in the 50 free.

Marywood competes in a tri-meet on Saturday against SUNY Delhi and Fashion Institute of Technology in Upstate New York.
