Pacers Fall Against King's, 65-45

Scranton, Pa. — On Saturday, the Pacers played host to the Monarchs of King's College. Marywood fell to Kings 64-45, and would drop to 3-6 with the loss. 

After a back-and-forth first two quarters, the teams went into the half tied at 28. The Pacers didn't fare nearly as well in the second half, being outscored 36-17. 

As a team, Marywood shot 19-58 (32.8%) from the field. This included a 6-22 (27.3%) clip from behind the arc, as well as 1-7 (14.3%) from the charity stripe. 

The Pacers offense was led by Rachel McDonald, who put up 12 points on 4-14 (28.6%) shooting. All 12 points were off of threes, going 4-8 (50%).
 
Faith Kendricks added 10 points of her own, while shooting 4-12 (33.3%) in total and 2-8 (25%) from three. 

Mia Blume led Marywood in assists with four. 

King's out-rebounded Marywood 47-33. 

Stephanie Klemick lead the Pacers with seven boards. 

The Monarch's were able to shoot 25-62 (40.3%) in total, while going 10-27 (37%) from beyond the three point line and 4-6 (66.7%) on free-throws. 

King's was led by Brenna Costello, who dropped 14 points on 6-14 (42.9%) shooting. 

The Pacers will travel to Doylestown for their next game, where they take on Delaware Valley University on Wednesday at 6pm.
