Women's Basketball Drops to Delaware Valley

Kendricks records her first double-double of the season

Doylestown, Pa. - The Pacers traveled south to Delaware Valley University on Wednesday evening to take on the Rams. Marywood (3-7) would go on to fall to Delaware Valley (7-2) by a score of 61-45. 

Both teams were very evenly matched in the first and second quarters, and went into the half tied 27-27. 

The Rams went on to dominate the final two quarters, outscoring the Pacers by 16 in the second half. 

As a team, Marywood was able to score 16 times on 72 total shots (22.2%). From behind the arc, the Pacers shot 7-29 (24.1%), to go along with a 6-13 (46.2%) clip from the free throw line. 

Marywood was led by Faith Kendricks, who scored 15 points for the Pacers on 5-19 (26.3%) shooting. Kendricks shot 4-14 (28.6%) from behind the arc as well. 

Rachel McDonald led Marywood with four assists. 

The Pacers were able to out-rebound the Rams 53-47, with Kendricks grabbing ten boards of her own.

Delaware Valley shot 21-60 (35%), going 5-19 (26.3%) from behind the arc and 14-16 (87.5%) from the charity stripe. 

The Rams were led offensively by Maisie Neuber's 20 points. 

The Pacers look to bounce back on Saturday as they travel to Penn State Harrisburg at 1pm.
