Swimming Sweeps FIT, Delhi to Extend Winning Streak

Delhi, N.Y. - Marywood University extended its winning streaks to three matches with a sweep of Fashion Institute of Technology and SUNY Delhi.

On the men's side, Marywood defeated Delhi 165-10 and FIT 165-11. The Pacers women earned a 120-24 victory over the Broncos and a 115-66 decision over the Tigers.

Samantha Peck took first place in three individual events. She won the women's 1,000 free in a time of 12:27.32, the 50 butterfly in 29.61 seconds, and the 200 IM in 2:28.42.

Emerson Gellert outtouched the 200 free field by a full second for a 2:13.56 victory.

Aubrey Mangan clocked in at 28.01 seconds in the 50 free. She was the top finisher in the 100 breast in 1:18.9.

Molly Englehardt had a dominant victory in the 100 backstroke, finishing in 1:12.53. She posted a win in the 500 free in 6:05.67.

Johnny Wargins won the 500 free in 6:36.43. Jeremiah Aires was first place in the men's 50 free in 27.04 seconds.

Quinn Grosvenor secured a 1:58.99 finish for first in the 200 free. His brother Nathan Grosvenor registered a 54.59-second win for the top spot in the 100 free race and a 2:20.65 victory in the 200 IM.

Dylan Hervieux claimed first in the 100 breast in 1:07.54.
