Clarks Summit, Pa. - Marywood University returned from its Spring Break trip to sweep Clarks Summit Tuesday in a softball doubleheader. The Pacers earned 18-0 and 9-1 victories in five innings.

Mara Hamm excelled both on the mound and batter's box for the Pacers. She earned her second consecutive shutout with a four-hit performance in five innings. Hamm struck out 10 of the 19 batters she faced. At the plate, she was 2 for 2 with two runs, four RBIs and a double.
Abbey Stalter had two RBIs, and
Brooke McKay scored three times.

Emma McNally each recorded two runs.

Samantha Baltrusaitis and
Mikaela Badner each provided two RBIs. Pari scored twice.
Marissa Gregory picked up a win, yielding three runs and an earned run. She struck out nine in five innings.
Marywood and Clarks Summit matched each other with a run in the first inning.
Samantha Baltrusaitis had an RBI walk that brought in the first run. Clarks Summit responded in the bottom of the first. Rebecca Serfass led with a walk and a stolen base. Sara Castillo hit a single to right field that scored the first run of the game. Gregory struck out two batters with the bases loaded to handcuff the Defenders.
Marywood responded with five runs in the second inning. Sam Ferrera hit a sacrifice fly for the go-ahead run.
Marywood's doubleheader at Cazenovia College was moved to Pacers Field on Friday at 3 p.m.
