Pacers Undone by Soaring Eagles

Scranton, Pa. - Marywood University dropped a 16-7 decision to Elmira College Wednesday in non-conference baseball. The Soaring Eagles scored the first 10 runs of the contest. 

Max Slusser reached in all five at-bats. Slusser went 2 for 2 with three RBIs, three walks, two runs and stolen base. Slusser hit a two-run home run in the third inning. 

Chris Thomas and Adam Ginsberg were 2 for 5 with a run. Robert Egan tallied a pair of hits with a double. Matt Fagnant drove in a pair of runs. 

On the mound, Joseph Bruno took the loss. He did not allow a run in two innings with four runs. Danny Tiedemann, Matthew Klipple and Derrick Ricci-Riner all had scoreless outings. 

Marywood used nine pitchers. 

The Pacers look to get back to .500 Thursday against Lycoming College.
