Boothwyn, Pa. — Marywood University lost the rubber match to Neumann University 5-0 Tuesday to close out its Atlantic East Conference baseball schedule. The Pacers conclude their season Thursday against Clarks Summit University.
 
Adam Ginsberg was the lone Pacer with a multi-hit game with a 2 for 3 performance. Ginsberg also reached on a walk.
 
Vinny D'Auria reached twice with a walk and a single.
 
Joseph Bruno took the loss with two strikeouts and eight hits allowed over four innings. Danny Becker threw two perfect innings of relief.
 
Neumann starter Zack Mullins tossed a complete game. He allowed five hits with four strikeouts.
 
Center fielder Joey Yannelli had an outfield assist when he threw out a Neumann runner as he attempted an inside the park grand slam.
