Pacers Drop to Mighty Macs, 68-78


Immaculata, Pa. - Marywood University fell to  Immaculata University 78-68 Wednesday in Atlantic East Conference women's basketball. Marywood now drops to 6-9 (0-2 AEC) while Immaculata improves to 8-8 (1-1 AEC).

Faith Kendricks had 17 points in the contest for the Pacers, shooting 7-17 (41.2%). Rachel McDonald and Colby White each had 13 points as well.

Ali Griscavage recorded her third double-double of the season, tallying 10 points and 10 rebounds.

For Immaculata, Tessa Liberatoscioli led offensively, recorded a triple-double, as she tallied 12 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists. The Mighty Macs as a team shot 27-66 (40.9%).

Marywood started off strong, out-scoring the Mighty Macs in the first quarter, 22-18. The Pacers kept the lead heading into halftime, up 39-37.

Marywood remained in control going into the third quarter, maintaining a three point lead on Immaculata.

In the fourth quarter, the Mighty Macs made their comeback, scoring 26 points and taking the Atlantic East Conference match.

The Pacers as a team went 25-57 (43.9%) from the floor in total, 9-26 (34.6%) from behind the arc, and 9-14 (64.3%) from the charity stripe.

The Pacers out-rebounded the Mighty Macs 37-32.

Mia Blume, Stephanie Klemick, and McDonald all recorded four assists a piece.

The Pacers will continue Atlantic East Conference play when they face Neumann on Wednesday.
