Pacers Downed in Clash Against Knights

Aston, Pa. - The Pacers trekked down south on Wednesday evening, where they clashed with the Knights of Neumann University. Marywood went on to fall in the duel, 56-36, and dropped in record to 6-10 (0-3 AEC). With the victory, Neumann improved to 12-6 (2-2 AEC). 

The Pacers were led offensively by Kendel Card, who dropped ten points, shooting 5-14 (35.7%). 

As a team, Marywood, in total, shot 14-54 (25.9%). This included a 1-9 (11.1%) clip from behind the arc and 7-11 (63.6%) from the charity stripe. 

Colby White and Shelby Ardo-Boykin recorded two assists a piece for the Pacers.

Marywood was also able to win the rebound battle, out-boarding Neumann 45-42. Alli Griscavage led both teams with 10 for the Pacers. 

For the opposition, Lauren Klieber led Neuman with 17 points (6-15, 40%). 

As a team, the Knights shot 22-66 (33.3%) from the field, 3-21 (14.3%) from three, and 9-11 (81.8%) from the free-throw line. 

The Pacers host Centenary on Saturday for their next match, as they look to bounce back at home.
